Reservations for two, please

Fun and adventure can be spontaneous, or it can be well planned.  I tend to be the planner.  The researcher.  The organizer.

But bring an attitude and your walking shoes, and an adventure is guaranteed!

My first super exciting adventure wore us out. I neglected to plan “down” time.  We discovered if you bike down Haleakala at the crack of dawn (after getting up at 1:00 am to catch the shuttle up the volcano), attend a luau that night, and then do the self driving tour to Hana the next day, you’re pooped.  Especially if you are the driver, which thankfully, I was not.

However, it WAS an adventure!

Nowadays, I believe in scheduling beach time, and making that dinner and tour reservation long in advance!  And that goes double at Disneyland! My favorite adventure location second only to a warm sunny beach!  No longer do I stand in line an hour (or more) for that crazy ride, give me FastPass and the Magic Mornings to get to the front of the line.  And don’t forget your reservation for Character Dining! If you haven’t dined with Goofy or Mickey, your missing out on fun!

I discover with planning, good timing, and reservations, fun and adventure is the most rewarding.

Does that mean I’m getting old?

Nah, I don’t think so.
