Peace @ End of Day

Yes, I believe I can tie a beach photo into most any thought or perspective that might cross my mind. And when I look at these sunset photos, it reminds me of what I felt looking out over the ocean at the end of the day, in awe of the beauty and vastness of the sea.  Peace.

Photos bring me joy.  They help me remember past experiences, or for those I did not take, anticipate the possibility of a new, future adventure.  Sometimes it might even be a way to enjoy an adventure of someone else through their photos.

Our life gets so tangled. Our focus gets blurred.  I strive to constantly recalibrate my perspective, to remain positive, and to see the good around me.  I have been told that I am an optimistic person.  I believe I am, and I believe that helps me enjoy life’s blessings more fully.  I hope that once in a while, my attitude or perspective might brighten someone else’s day.  Perhaps I can encourage others to see the good rather than focus on the hardships of life.

At the end of the day, I want to feel peace and have faith that all will be ok.  I want to open my eyes to the joys of the day, and feel the anticipation of happiness tomorrow. And sometimes, if it is only to stand in the knowledge that God has a plan, and he will help me through the challenges I face, then my attitude will only help make the trip better. And that is ok.

Life does not come with instructions on how to live, but it does come with trees, sunsets, smiles and laughter, so enjoy your day.
