FOTD: The Artist Within

Deep inside I have always had an artistic flair.  I’ve done some drawing in the past, and have always wanted to paint. Maybe someday I will.  Until then, I will let the artist within me come out in my photos.  When I see the softness of these flowers, the glimmers and glow of the sun through the petals and the leaves, it reminds me of a beautiful painting.

I think one of these photos would look beautiful printed on canvas.

What do you think?

When I judge art, I take my painting and put it next to a God made object like a tree or flower. If it clashes, it is not art.
Paul Cezanne

What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure; but scattered along life’s pathway, the good they do is inconceivable.

These flowers are beautiful, and any of them would make your wall beautiful, too.

  4. I think the first or second one would look pretty on canvas. If you use Photoshop they have some filters you can play with for a different look also

      1. I started with Photoshop Elements – a little less of a learning curve – however I eventually got hooked on Lightroom. I found it much more intuitive

      2. I subscribe to Lightroom and Photoshop. I think I’m going to take a class so I can get some help figuring it out 🙂
