If God creates such amazing beauty in the middle of an ordinary cactus, surrounded by dangerous spines and barbs, how can we not expect him to take care of us in the midst of our messy life?

If God takes care of these amazing flowers and allows them to bloom so beautifully, then trust that He too, will grow you into your own beautiful and amazing blossom, no matter what crazy pain may surround you!

Lovely flowers that, if pollinated, will turn into tasty fruit, which is a first-cousin to dragon fruit.

I did not know that! I need to get a book to help me identify some of the things that I take photos of. Thank you!

We have some of these as well as the typical dragon fruit. They are both in the night blooming cereus botanical family. Studies show that cereus fruit is beneficial, this is probably due to their fiber and antioxidant content.

I believe that. We make different things out of Prickly Pear cactus fruit (I haven’t yet but I might some day). And the birds love eating all of the cactus fruit.

Sometimes I think the wild animals have a healthier diet than us humans.
