I found this visitor on our screen door today and decided to take a few photos. Then, I went outside and took a few from his back side. I found it very difficult to get his entire frame in focus.
When I looked up close, I was fascinated to see he looks furry!

See below my friendly moth on the screen door. I think the colors on his wings are absolutely beautiful!

You are making me more aware of the variety of moths and butterflies we have in this area. What a variety there is, and I’m noticing more of their differences.
