Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #83 – Future

After reading the amazing post by Leya here, I have been thinking what I would post in photos, focusing on FUTURE.

So often when I think of the future, it may be of things yet to come in my life, or those I love. What is in “my” future?

When I step back and think “futuristic”, space creatures come to mind.Β  Are they out there?Β  Will we ever see them?

As my mind wandered along on this theme (stick with me here), my thoughts went to my photo collection.Β  What have I photographed recently that could possibly relate to the theme of “Future”?

Well, I have discovered my love of macro photos in recent months, and I have a small collection of some very interesting insects!Β  Although I still hope to improve my skills in this area, some of my photos have captures the very unique, eerie, and space creature like details.

So, I came to this conclusion: Not only do some of my insects display some fascinating space creature like characteristics, I hope MY future allows me to improve my macro photo skills so I can see even more of the tiny details in this fascinating world around us!

And finally, a bee.Β  One of my favorite insects to photograph.Β  May our future contain many many bees to pollinate and keep our planet blooming!

These are all wonderful, Lisa! I can see your love for photography and macro as clear as the photos you take. i was totally mesmerized by that first one, the looks of that face, and then there followed more of them. I too hope the future brings you more time and joy with macro (I love it too…) – it is great fun and you learn all the time. Bees – we need them – let us hope they will stay with us in the future as well. The alternative is that we all go, and that must not happen.
Love your take on this, and thank you for joining in!

    1. Thank you! I like that little guy. I didn’t even realize he was a bug at first, after a few shots I picked up his little stick and shot a few eye-to-eye. Then I put him back down again!! 😁
