Friday night we decided to go out on the town. That included dinner from Taco Bell drive though and heading around the corner to the neighborhood park. Sitting in our car, window down, we enjoyed dinner and watched the activity around us. Actually, it was quite peaceful.
After our delicious outdoor dinner for two, we took a lovely stroll around the park. Again, actually quite lovely, enjoying the darkness settle around us.
On the edge of the park is our Library. All lit up, but closed. I have seen these bold bright lights from the street passing by, on several occasions. This night I was able to see it up close and discover what I was missing.
I only had my phone camera handy, but I snapped a few photos.
Three colored lights shown brightly through metal structures with words cut out throughout the pieces. Looking at the lights, you can read the words. Turn around, and the colors and words reflect in awesome colors against the wall.
The result? Stunning!
“Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.”
