I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to participate in this week’s Tuesday Photo Challenge.
However, I might call mine Beach Animals 🙂
These photos were taken along Highway 1, on one of our road trips, soon after my husband’s retirement. Our first included two weeks, visiting family and friends, and enjoying the beach along the Oregon Coast, and down through the top half of California. Sadly, our time came to an end and we had to hightail it back home from San Francisco.
Last May we were able to do the bottom half of California, again ending in San Francisco and heading home. Yes, we hope to return again someday, to explore the many places we missed. It was amazing.
“To stand at the edge of the sea, to sense the ebb and flow of the tides, to feel the breath of a mist moving over a great salt marsh, to watch the flight of shore birds that have swept up and down the surf lines of the continents for untold thousands of years, to see the running of the old eels and the young shad to the sea, is to have knowledge of things that are as nearly eternal as any earthly life can be.” ~ Rachel Carson
I think I would enjoy a walk on that beach. 😁

I live on the East Coast so don’t have the opportunity to see the same breathtaking creatures as you but have gotten a great view from the photos you’ve shared. Thanks for the follow too. 🙂
