Wednesday, on our early morning walk, I captured this photo of these two butterflies sharing a flower.
Was this perhaps a sign? A reminder that sharing life with someone special is itself, great value?
You see, last Wednesday was our 25th wedding anniversary. Something we had started planning for months and months ago. And because of circumstances outside of our control (there were several), the day ended up being very simple, and quite frankly, uneventful.
I have a hard time with that. I like to make milestones into some sort of an exciting celebration in a location other than home. Not a party (I don’t do parties), but an adventure. This year, no adventure. Just the comfort of having my True Love beside me.
Perhaps God is trying to tell me something. So, I’m going to try my best to listen.
