As spring slowly starts to appear in our desert climate, the fall leaves still hold on for a few final days before falling gently to the rocky earth.
These beautiful mesquite flowers give evidence of changing seasons as the sun glimmers through the new leaves and blooming flowers.
In our climate this is one of my favorite times of the year.
“Can words describe the fragrance of the very breath of spring?” ~ Neltje Blanchan

“Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love!”
~ Sitting Bull
