Sometimes when I see green, it makes me breathe more deeply and my thoughts float to a place of calm and serenity. Does that ever happen to you?
Well, apparently it’s a real thing. According to www.verywellmind.com studies have shown that “The color green can positively affect thinking, relationships, and physical health. Green is also thought to relieve stress and help heal.”
Did you know there is a phycology to color? The site also says that “Shades of green in nature can help put us at ease in a new place. For this reason, designers often feature green in public spaces like restaurants and hotels.”
There is so much more you can learn about the color green, should you choose to visit the site.
In the meantime, here are a few photos that totally brought me calm and serenity, both while I snapped the photos this morning, and when I pulled them up on my computer this afternoon.
May you see green this weekend and prepare yourself for whatever may come in the week ahead.
Sunday Blessings 🙏

Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.

A lovely post, Lisa. When I hike in the forest, full of greenness, there is always an extra dose of peace and tranquillity. It’s so lovely. 💚 Happy coming Sunday, my friend!

I didn’t link my calm with the colour, but I find great peace with trees. Maybe that’s why?
Stunning photos!
