Big Bend Nat’l Park resident: Horse Lubber Grasshopper

I found this brilliantly colored grasshopper as I walked along the path near our lodge in the park.

Hello Horse Lubber!

    It looks large. I guess as long as it doesn’t land on me when we are there, I will be good. I do think it would be fun to study them for a bit.
