I took a walk at one of my favorite places today. It’s been several months, and I was happy to see a variety of birds and ducks around. It was a much-needed walk out in nature.
I saw this young, Black-crowned Night Heron on the edge of the path, near the water area. I was surprised he was just sitting there. I hope he is ok. Another park visitor said he did see him fly into the tree, then back down to the path. He’d been sitting there for quite some time.
So beautifully 💚

“The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be.”
~ Anne Frank
