We recently returned from one of the most amazing and event filled trips we’ve done. We stared in DC, visited multiple national parks, and ended our trip in Myrtle Beach, SC.
One of my favorite photos below captures a moment of peace with both man and gull in contemplation.
The beach is one of my favorite places.
Where else can we feel the expansive power of God and peace through the rush of the sea?

I stayed in Myrtle Beach Friday night.

I hope you had great weather, Alice! When we left last Sunday it was pouring! …but still beautiful!

True Lisa, looking out to the ocean makes us realise how small we are and how powerful our God is: “For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar – the Lord Almighty is his name.” – Isaiah 51:15 yet an thankfully: “what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them[b] a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honour.” Psalm 8:4-5 Good to hear from you again my friend.

Lost in the daily hustle, we forget there are peaceful escapes around us. I really need to get back to the beach to reflect and just be grateful.
