Taking Control… Learning Contentment
Although it was off season, a bit cooler, and missing the summer vibe, this beach was beautiful! Below are a few photos off our balcony at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, Florida. We did not have to fight crowds and I got my daily dose of beach walks and sunsets.

Thank you for the moments on the beach this morning. When I woke up, we had a fresh layer of white snow to view. Definitely not a warm beach scene! 🙂

My husband and I love Destin. The whole Emerald Coast, really. We visit every two or three years. Have even talked about getting a second home there one day.

Oh, it was so beautiful!! Just a little quiet, I would have liked a little more activity. We drove down 30A, didn’t realize how lovely it was. Could have spent more time exploring that area!🌴🌴

I think the quiet is bliss. In fact, we always visit in either Jan or Feb. Zero crowds, the rates are better, and no scorching heat. We have experienced daytime highs anywhere from mid 50’s to mid 80’s! For us, it’s absolutely perfect! Your post has made me want to go back soon! 🙂 Did you get to Seaside? It’s so cute. There is a great restaurant there that we like called Great Southern Cafe.

We did stop in Seaside! I got a magnet there. I had no idea those cute little towns were there, could have spent another day looking around, eating and shopping!

I like a little more action, the town was very quiet. But these beaches were amazing! And we were told during the summer the traffic is horrific! And it was cheaper 😊 Thank you Nora!
