These are crazy times. Yesterday I found myself packing up my laptop and heading out to work from home for the next two weeks.
The past few days have been tense and stressful. My brain focuses on one thing then another.
Monday night on my walk, not only did the fresh outdoors help me refocus, it helped me see the new life sprouting up all over the wash. I’m trying to identify these beautiful daisy type flowers, still not quite sure what they are. But they are beautiful. I plan to go out there every day after I finish work (except for today…God chose to water my wild flower bed in the wash). I want to see them open and watch them grow if I can.
That is my goal for this week. Refresh myself outdoors each evening. See what is growing, see light, color and see others out there doing the same. There is something therapeutic about outdoors, fresh air and exercise.
I see good and beauty. And I will do my best to focus on that, and not the fear that threatens to grip me tightly and not let go. I hope each of you are able to do the same.

And for fun, I walked around my yard and snapped a few water photos this afternoon when the rain stopped. Beautiful and fresh.

Beautiful pictures, Lisa! I also love seeing the rain drops on the flower petals. Yes, it is a time we need to just try and relax, and lean on the Lord.

Thank you so much. So far I am very well, just need to fight the fear of the unknown. We need to support and encourage one another! ๐ค

Wonderful photos and post. We finally had a warm day without rain so we were able to work in the yard. I’ve been staying busy and keeping up with friend via phone or video calls. We all need to pray for our health care providers – nurses, laboratory technologists, respiratory, doctors, those who decontaminate patient rooms – too many to list!!

I agree 100%! God bless all those out there working hard to help us through all this. I’m not quite sure how I can help, but if I find a way, I will! (and thank you ๐)
