Double-crested Cormorant …and friends

Yesterday I discovered Double-crested Cormorants hanging out at the top of a couple of very tall trees at the lake. They were pretty far away so it was hard to get super photos. But they are pretty cool birds.

Today my husband came with me to the lake and he called me over when he saw a cormorant dive into the water for a fish. How surprised I was to capture a few photos of him wrestling with his breakfast!
