Yesterday I posted some photos of things you’ll find at a marina taken at Knudson Cove on my recent trip to Alaska.
Something you might not find at a marina is an American Mink. Yes, Knudson Cove Marina has a cute furry resident and I happened to see him (with some help from my brother who saw him scurrying around the boat launch ramp).
Now, they do hang out around rivers and creeks, so maybe you might find one at a marina, I did!
I do know he’s quite a cutie!

Wonderful images Lisa and what a cutie! 💜

Isn’t that fasinating? There is water that runs into that marina that I assume is fresh water. I’m guessing that is where he gets his drinking water. I loved him!

It reminded me of the mink pieces at thrift stores or on old ladies who inward younger (glad there are now synthetic faux furs)

He seems just as interested in you. Adorable. I wonder if he finds safety in the humans. I don’t believe anyone would harm him. So cute. Great find.
