Yes, my dad does miniatures! He’s done several over the past year or two. Click here for my previous post if you’d like to see them.
It is quite amazing that at 82 years young he has the dexterity and patience to create these fasinating pieces of art.
I hope you enjoy the photos of this tiny “doll house”. Good news, he’s working on a new one!
Aging can be fun if you lay back and enjoy it.

And I’m a really happy person, I enjoy life. I think you see that on people. I think there’s nothing more aging than misery.

I LOVE your dad’s miniatures. He is so talented!

Thank you, Jeff! They are little kits, but oh my goodness, I would not have the patience! And he has good eyes, because you have to assemble every single tiny piece!

You’re welcome, Lisa! I do not have the patience at all, plus you have to be super talented to assemble all of it. Amazing!

Nice work, what does he do with them?

Thank you! (Ok, he thanks you 😊) Right now they are just sitting on his mantel. Eventually I’m guessing he’ll give them away. I have the beach house he did as his first one!

I love those, especially this one! It is so adorable and looks so realistic! He sure does have a lot of patience with those.

Those miniatures are so cool and rather cheering – and went well with the quotes
Also / the Pfeiffer quote is so true about how misery can age

These are beautiful! They bring back memories for me. My father also did miniatures many many years ago when I was young. Thank you for the sweet fond memories.

Oh I just love this. I am 77 and so I am inspired by your dad. I used to make jewelry and I want to get back to it.
