To contemplate the past year
To find renewed hope for the year to come
It was fitting for me to head to my favorite walking paths at the wetlands
Beauty was everywhere!
Walkers, birders, photographers
I was not alone
Yet, I was able to find quiet moments of solitude
Mind and body refreshed
I’m ready to face the new year!

You’re welcome. Yes, I find it fun to read books others recommend. I loved the photos too and still can’t believe they survived. It’s amazing and that they continued on with a life of travel. I’d be the first to say, NEVER again after what they went through!! 🤣
