Today is Thanksgiving Day, in a year like no other. And yet, the day gives us reason to pause and reflect more than ever before. In a year, in a world, where there is so much that is negative to bring the spirit down, there is still so much positive to inspire our soul. So, as I have worked to do throughout this year, I will reset my spirit, and set my eyes on all that is good. For although my life is greatly effected, I still have life and love, home and family, health, nature, and God to sustain me.
I will be grateful for all I have
I will pray for those in need
I will believe and feel hopeful
I will be generous and helpful
I will connect with God and nature
Hold tightly to those I love
Give love and light to those around me
And when my spirit starts to fail
I will remember the One who gives Light
For it is HOPE that moves us forward
For all that I have
I am grateful
🙏🏻

Thank you to Nancy for her inspiring post and challenge to #GiveThanks
Pandemic Thanksgiving 2020 was quite different, but we made the best of it – yet – there is much to be thankful for – including a beautiful poem. A Happy Thanksgiving from the morning after.

That is a lovely poem about being thankful. I believe that thanking God often for all that He has given me is a great way to have His peace in this troubled world. Thanks for the reminder.
