  5. Isn’t nature grand? I’ve had the delight to wake-up the last few mornings to see 30 ducks happily frolicking in my pond. Nature offers an abundance of gifts if we only take time to appreciate their value. You have captured them beautifully in your photographs Lisa. Blessings to you!

    1. Thank you! I learned a new trick! Lisa, is the top one the grebes? And is it a baby? It looks like a young bird. I just thought it was cute ๐Ÿ˜Š

Yay for learning a new trick! Woohoo! The top ones is a Pied-billed Grebe. It is not a baby. They are smaller than coots. I have an awesome set of photos of one that I will share in the near future. Had to take 50 to get a couple of good ones. It was windy and he was in the center of the pond. Didn’t have enough lens. Then he swam to near the edge and I got close enough to get a decent shot. ๐Ÿ™‚

Sometimes I have to look them up. Especially if it isnโ€™t a common bird here but this one I knew. ๐Ÿ˜Š
