Although it was not a lot, we were blessed with rain showers one evening last week. As I did my morning walk the next morning, I realized the sun was shining through our Texas Rosebush bringing out the shimmer in the rain drops. I took time out of my morning to capture a few photos. Yes, every time it rains here in our desert climate, we are blessed.
Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing. ~ Camille Pissarro

It rained yesterday too, and though I didn’t get to see it, only the rain drops on my car’s window, I appreciated what it meant and what it can bring. Today, your post confirms of how a great blessing it is, “Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing. “ Beautiful images with beautiful inspiring words. Thank you.

I love the drops in your photos. I can almost feel the moisture in the air. We had rain again last night. It smells so good out there. I never appreciated rain so much, as I do in the desert. I think it’s a promise, and symbolic of things to come.
(And it makes weed-pulling much easier.)

Thank you, Donna! Last evening, I walked out into the wash… and I found little sprouts popping up all over! Spring flowers are coming!

Yes…me too. I think I told you, I have a fake wash in my front yard. I throw seeds in there too. The lupine and desert bluebells are up. Just no buds yet.
