Along the wash

Yesterday morning I walked along the wash. A few things are coming to life with the recent rains. I found green things growing in areas where the water runs off or pools.

Praying for more rain to come πŸ™

Have a blessed Sunday!

Tree Tobacco

Tall Evening Primrose

Giant Reed

Some type of sunflower

Green sprouts where water pooled

Prickly Pear cactus

Red Saddlebags

Where there seems to be nothing, you can still find something beautiful.

    1. Yes, it is! Sometimes I go out with my camera, and I don’t know if I’ll find anything exciting. But I really can find something photo worthy if I try 😊 Thanks Jeff!

Yes, the beauty is always there I think, we just need to be present to it, which you always show us through your lovely photography. Most welcome, Lisa! 😁

I looked to see who the author was for the final quote in your post Lisa and what do you know….it was YOU! That’s such a beautiful thought to go with your beautiful images. Hard to believe it’s the desert isn’t it?! Here in SC we’ve been in a drought but the last few weeks have taken us out of it. Now we just have to hope we avoid the storms of hurricane season! Mother Nature – gotta love her!

    1. Thank you, Tina! At least we don’t get hurricanes here. But, without water we’re in trouble! πŸ’¦

Lovely greens. Perhaps you could send some of that rain our way? And I so agree with your last sentence!

London had only 9% of its usual July average and August has been dry so far too 😦
