Rustic Sphinx moth

This Rustic Sphinx moth is beautiful!

I’ve been watching for the White-lined Sphinx month and was surprised to discover this guy a few days ago. I think I have seen one a couple of years ago on the outside of our house. But I have only seen the White-lined on the flowers.

This was early morning and I wasn’t sure how well the photos would come out, but I think he looks pretty cool!

He was super fun to watch as he stuck his nose deep into the flowers. And check out his tongue that sips the nectar!
